Maemo will be at the heart of the discussion at the OneDotZero conference this year, a digital art gathering at the British Film Institute (BFI), Southbank, London. Maemo community members will be involved in two sessions:
"It's good to be open", Thursday 10 September, 19:00: A panel on the importance of free & open source software.
"Nokia: the art of open source", Saturday 12 September, 12:00 noon: Gary Birkett and Karsten Schmidt will be demonstrating a Maemo-based digital art installation which aggregates text messages from the internet in real time, and is controlled by an N900 phone.
Entry is free, but tickets must be reserved in advance.
