SYNOPSIS
nitro_daemon
DESCRIPTION
This daemon monitors the known rich-core dump locations (implemented with GnomeVFSMonitor) and when it detects the appearance of a new dump, launches the Crash Reporter UI so that the user gets notified about the event and can decide what to do with the dump. Additionally, while starting up, the daemon checks whether there are any unsent dumps and if this is the case, starts the UI. For more information about the rich-core dumps themselves, please see rich-core-dumper(1) manual page.
This daemon has no commandline options. The preferred way of controlling whether it is running or not (other than uninstalling) is to use the Crash Reporter applet in Control Panel.
