Running Java applets in Internet sites

Hi all,

Why can't I run Java applets in Internet sites?

I even get an error regarding Java not present when trying to log-in to my
GMail account.

This is new to the IT2006 OS.

And another thing - I noticed the maximum volume setting is too low. It used
to be higher.

I just recently re-flashed the device.

Thanks!

May be you mean Javascript? AFAIK Gmail does not use java applets.

Maybe you have disabled javascript in the browser?

Or maybe the browser disabled Javascript automatically, when it noticed
you were running out of memory. It does that sometimes, and disables
image loading too.

OK, so you're a Ph.D. Just don't touch anything.
