Horrible. The alarm is WAY too loud and would have startled me if I didn't have headphones on. No vibration choice for the alarm and no function or custom alarms setting.

Seriously, Maemo community, learn to write robust and functional software.

I would rather use Remind+Wyrd on my Easy Debian Chroot than this shit.

Thank you again for this program. This and erminig give me two-way syncing with google calendar, and the handy calendar applet is awesome. Thanks.

This is a great app which I've been using successfully for a couple of years. Despite some comments, it does wake from sleep, and it can synch with almost anything (via gmail and erminig). However there seems to be a continuing problem with the dependencies for v2.8+maemo+svn20081212-3 for diablo; the only way I could get it to work was to enable devel-extras (not desirable).

It seems that the .install file is mostly setup for Diablo, but has one errant "bora" in it. Changing the 'bora' to 'diablo' made it work for me.

I can't get the new version of GPE Calendar to install. It give an error that it is missing things from the package:liboundgen0 and libxsettings-client0

Agree with what has been said about this application, it must wake up the tablet if it is powered off. Without it powering up the tablet for an alarm, it is a real problem and schedules are missed. Flashing the led would also be a nice addition. Otherwise, the application looks good.

Pretty good calendar app, but can we PLEEEEZE get it to use the built-in alarm system? Currently there is no snooze function at all, and if the tablet is locked, it is a real pain to unlock the tablet and acknowledge the alarm.

If the built-in alarms are used, they will even wake up the tablet if it is turned off, and you can snooze or dismiss the alarm even when it is locked.

I understand there is already a patch written to do this, but it needs some cleanup in order to be included. I'm not a programmer or I'd be all over this. Can we please get it added?

I have converted my agenda from the symbian s60 calendar running on my e90 to gpe calendar on my n810. So far so good even if I'm scared of possible glitches, and of losing my appointment data.

Good app but I'd like to be able to change it from using a 24 hour clock to a 12hour am/pm clock. Also to change the color of events. It seems like GPE has some kind of configuration component that hasn't been made available to install on an internet tablet? That would make this even better.

App is great, but fonts are bright and it is hard to see anything on bright background. It would be great if you change that. Some contrast between font color & backgrnd will make app perfect.

Not bad. Needs a UI rewrite to be more tablet friendly.

Not as pretty nor as finger friendly as one would wish for the Nokia - but part of a very feature-complete suite, and no show-stoppers!

A lot of people want a calendar on their tablet, and here it is. It works and it's got lots of options. Come and get it folks!

The one downside is perhaps it may be a bit overwhelming for people who want something simpler and easier to use, which is why I only give it four stars.
