Any recommendations for disabling the touch screen with a menu and re-enabling it with the keyboard?
Is there a better place to ask this type of question?
New to N900 and Maemo, when I need a solution to a use case, I search here at maemo.
Searching here I found one talk discussion about the use case problem of hitting touch screen buttons retrieving the n900 from one's pocket when receiving a call[1]. This solution was focused only on pre-disabling the touch screen when receiving a call.
And, I also found the exact issue for turning off the screen when watching videos[2]. This discussion ventured into script writing and I'm not ready to learn this yet.
