AT&T, although N900 does not support AT&T 3G frequencies (2/2.5G data
access and phone calls work of course)

Nationally I think AT&T is the only other. Regionally there may be a
smaller GSM carrier in your area. Here's a list (no idea how current
it is... Centennial is now AT&T, for example)

I believe the gsmworld site is about as current & authoritative as you
can get as the HSPA, LTE, etc. but possibly under a different domain
name. by looking through the list of US carriers, I'm guessing not all
of them are necessarily voice providers as well (e.g. Bend Cable) but
that's merely speculation without further research.
