mxr.maemo.org

Hello,

As Ryan explained here

mxr.maemo.org is in fact not backed up by regular maemo staff but
"exists solely thanks to the efforts timeless puts in his spare time".
So despite having its own bugzilla component and link in developer
section it is not official part of maemo.org. This took me by surprise.
Many thanks to timeless for his work.

Is it possible to somehow make it more official part of maemo.org so it
gets resources it deserves and is regularly updated? I know this may
sound like blasphemy but I think that having properly cross referenced
sources may be more important than let's say implementing yet another
great karma aggregator plugin ;-)

i'm alive, i even read this list.

fwiw, i've gotten internal complaints about missing fremantle updates.
i'll try to update the index this week.

the scripts i use should be publishable, so in theory nothing prevents
someone else from working on it.

if someone wants a second set of keys to mxr.maemo.org, that should be possible.

backing it up otoh, is relatively pointless, the data is all generated
(and is in fact backed up by dreamhost).

Great :-) The point of my mail was not to bury or sidestep you. The
point was to get information about how "official" mxr.maemo.org is.
