Brainstorm

In my opinion, many people like to use their N900 at Home via WLAN als cordless phone. So you can register the phone at the DSL-Router (Fritz!Box) with an internal number.

Outside, with internet connection to mobile provider, n900 can´t register the internal number. An error message will occur.

I have a calendar "daily schedule" with a lot of events that occur daily or several times a week. If I make them visible they are displayed along with other events on the desktop calendar widget. The problem is that the important rare events get lost among the daily schedule events and if I make them invisible - I don't see them and also don't hear the alarm thet I set for them.

In silent profile the device should be silent (I don't want to be alarmed about my Grandma's birthday during business meetings).

Even though the kinetic scrolling works fine, sometimes in long lists/pages/content it is not easy to get where you want to go fast.
You have to flick your finger a couple of times.

Lets say you have 100 folder (images for example) and need to find something and you dont know if its in folder 80,81,82. In file manager you end up flicking and flicking till you are in folder 80. If you dont finde it there you go one folder up and the flicking flicking starts again.

Situation: Received an authz request from an unknown contact or received an IM  message from unknown contact..

It should be possible to lookup information for the unknown IM contact and
eventually add it to the contact list without writing it down and typing it back in.
