In my opinion, many people like to use their N900 at Home via WLAN als cordless phone. So you can register the phone at the DSL-Router (Fritz!Box) with an internal number.
Outside, with internet connection to mobile provider, n900 can´t register the internal number. An error message will occur.

In other Nokia phones there ist an option where you can choose a default internet connection for each VoIP account.
It would be great to add this feature in N900 too.
So you can choose that the VoIP account will registrate only over specified internet connection (in this case the internal WLAN)
For example: VoIP account with internal number will connect only if the internal WLAN ist available.
Other VoIP account (with sipgate or other VoIP-Numbers) will be registrate only if an internet connection with an external mobile provider ist available.
