Comments:
I'm terribly sorry for the wasting of time. BTW I've just uploaded a new version, that should go to Extras (when it passes the QA process). Thanks.
If you don't intend on promoting the package, please remove it from the queue to avoid testers wasting time on a package version that's not going to Extras anyway. Thank you.
I have a quite ready new version, with some new features implemented, I prefer to promote this new one, once it will be released.
any reasons for not promoting to Extras?
@Timo: Yes, at the moment this is the only way. I could dig on this for the next release.
I guess the standard procedure of removing the shortcuts is uninstalling the software? There is no way to clear any slots you have previously selected.
I've setted a fixed dimension for the icons in the statusbar (48x48). This feature will be available in the next release.
cool app. Little smaller icons to perfectly fit in would have been great as the settings icon is slightly cut and others some aren't fully displayed though not that clearly visible. Setting just the few buttons displayed error message however, setting all the buttons didn't.
The gconf key is stored here : /var/lib/gconf/apps/Maemo/quicklaunch/
After an install/update a reboot is preferable. I think this is the reason of crash.
First time setting it up crashed Settings for me.
@Uwe : if you want to see the no-icon ,then you have to uninstall quick-launch, manually remove the gconf key (/var/lib/gconf/apps/Maemo/ , iirc ), reboot and re-install the app.
@Emanuele : would be this feature necessary ? I didn't get the 'plus' of having the ability to switch the app ON/OFF.
Same as Uwe.
BTW, could you add an ON/OFF button, so that I can keep the app in the Extras Settings without using it and turn it on when needed? Actually, I have to remove it and install it again for doing such a thing.
