Mauku is just an user interface. It does not have a single line of code related to Twitter connection or authentication. The OAuth support should be enabled in the Microfeed library, which is LGPL2! Go fix it, if you like.

Mauku no longer works with Twitter due to changes on Twitter's end. Unfortunately, I've seen no sign that Henrik Hedberg is continuing to work on Mauku, and given that Mauku is not open source, no one else can take over.
I've lost everything since Twitter required OAuth! Please issue an update. Thanks J
Mauku no longer works with Twitter because the OAuth authentication is not available, despite what is said on the OS 2008 Mauku page.
good twitte client. there's a small problem though, i have added my twitter account and it keeps giving me an error "twitter: limit reached" (or something to that effect). any ideas on what could be wrong? is it a bug?
Where are the new version?
We need an update for Mauku!
Very nice Twitter client, albeit a little bit basic. I hope new versions will have additional features like direct link selection, image hosting service support and URL shortener support.
One of my most used apps in the N800 and now in the N900. But, please, please add Mentions and DMs quickly, as not having this greatly reduces the app's functionality.
Also adding the possibility to tweets previous to the moment of login would be a godsend. Some sort of "History" feature would be great. Other Twitter clients have this and it is a seriously useful thing.
All in all, one of my most loved and useful apps.
Keep it up! Congratulations and thanks for your effort
As someone that just likes to send a tweet every now and then, I love this.
Works nicely as a twitter client. Would be nice if it could periodicly check for new tweets and such.
Like it a lot, its good and with some new features it will be excellent!
Looks nice and it's generally easy to use, but the lack of some features makes me end up in the Twitter web page more often than I'd like.
Keep up with the good work.
Is there a way I can get it to work with network proxy? I seems not to respect the systemwide proxy
It makes everything so simple and sweet... and best of all, it looks great. One of the beauties in the Extras repository. I wish I could give an extra 6th star just for that. ;)
Any news on Beta 5 yet? Its been a few weeks since you mentioned this next release, which you said has DM and @ columns. We really need this update now my friend, as just having a timeline, and nothing else sucks.
a daily companion. looking forward to more features.
Whooohoo) Thank you very much)
Can you put application's screenshot please? At least one... Thanks in advance!
