improve group chat functionality in conversations

Posted on 2010-02-06 21:19 UTC by Michael Becker. Status: Under consideration, Categories: Desktop, Internet & Networking, User Experience.

In skype group chats it gets easily annoying to see every message popup like every other normal IM.

there should be an option to hide group chat notifications

MicroB "Back" Button Behaviour Change

Posted on 2010-02-10 05:44 UTC by Brett Helgeson. Status: Under consideration, Categories: Internet & Networking.

At the moment when you click the back button in MicroB it brings up the browser history to scroll/flick through. This can be a bit time consuming when all you want to do is go to the previous page.

Improvement for VoIP accounts

In my opinion, many people like to use their N900 at Home via WLAN als cordless phone. So you can register the phone at the DSL-Router (Fritz!Box) with an internal number.

Outside, with internet connection to mobile provider, n900 canĀ“t register the internal number. An error message will occur.

Add options for unknown IM contact management

Posted on 2010-02-11 19:49 UTC by Filip Hofer. Status: Under consideration, Categories: Internet & Networking, User Experience.

Situation: Received an authz request from an unknown contact or received an IM message from unknown contact..

It should be possible to lookup information for the unknown IM contact and
eventually add it to the contact list without writing it down and typing it back in.

The Skype implementation on n900 is very feature weak. There have been a number of suggestions of ways it could be improved. This brainstorm is to collate them all in one place to make a feature-rich Skype experience.
