Bugtracker link is not only broken, but this package generates wrong bugtracker links. It adds "XSBC-Bugtracker:" twice to all generated packages.

Ups, my mistake, you're using the correct section, I mixed your app with another one, really sorry. I can't change my vote now :(

@Benoit - No need to make your own repository, just upload this application as a developer tool.

Do you really think this is a application suitable for end users ?

In my opinion it's not a application for suitable for 'end users', so should be out of extras. No GUI, no app icon...

Suggest, if this is added to Extras that:

  • It gets an XB-Maemo-Display-Name of "py2deb" or "Python Packager".
  • The description shouldn't have correct capitalisation and have a lot more detail as to whether a user should install it:

--------8<-------- Generate packages from Python code. This provides a framework and mechanism for developing and packaging Python code on your device. Intended for developers and hobbyists, you can maintain and code your application on the move, produce the source package and upload it to Extras for others to use. -------->8--------

Since not listed in b.m.o, needs to have a link in the package to the bugtracker See http://wiki.maemo.org/Extras-testing/QA_Checklist#Lack_of_bug_reporting_database (and please update SVN it makes it hard for people to submit improvements like that)
