I just uploaded binary & sourcecode of my port of xarchiver to the maemo (os2008/chinook so far) platform. It implements mime-open, so you can open archives from the nokia filemanager. As it acts as a frontend to commandline utilities you should install unzip or unrar packages if you want to handle those kind of archives.
