Since yesterday, busybox-power has got its own garage page. With busybox-power seeing a more widespread usage lately, a more professional project page (including a proper bugtracker) was getting mandatory. I've just moved my local source tree to its new home in GIT, and pushed the GIT tree online (see "SCM" in this garage page). Busybox-power basically consists of 1) the latest, vanilla upstream BusyBox 2) patches to suit Maemo (e.g. Nokia's patches) 3) modified .config file to fulfil the project's goal of providing an enhanced shell 4) scripts to provide an as-safe-as-possible (un)installation framework for Maemo As we don't want to duplicate BusyBox' complete source tree, only the other items are to be found in busybox-power's tree. These items all reside in the debian/ directory. To get everyone started: I've created a simple helper script which automatically downloads BusyBox' tarball, sets up the build directory, and starts building busybox-power. Assuming you've got Scratchbox set up properly, a git clone + "sh busybox-power/build.sh" in Scratchbox should suffice. Enjoy :)
