There is a great framework for recording/manipulating mediastreams, GStreamer. But why not use it in a GPS application to record and/or manipulate the location? I'm trying to implement this GPS handling via the GStreamer way, and make this app a real GPS tracking program with GStreamer ;-). Hope that it works.
