At Linux Tag in Berlin, during his presentation in the maemo track, Quim Gil announced that for the next 10 days, Nokia is opening a brainstorm period for the future of maemo.org. The goal is to consolidate feedback from the developers and users in the community, and integrate that feedback into the mid-term agenda of the project.

Two wiki pages have been created for the brainstorm in the new maemo.org wiki: the next 100 days of maemo.org and maemo.org in 2010. Over the next 10 days, people are invited to add their ideas, suggestions and gripes to these two pages, to help set the agenda for maemo.org.

At the end of this period, a synthesis of the suggestions will become the community proposal of the maemo.org product strategy. This input will be taken by Nokia into account in the definition of the future of maemo.org.

Comments:

Actually, Nokia knows how much important is maemo community for the success of the platform. Probably, this is the first step to the "openess" so much discussed.
