Forgot to mention this earlier, but Maemo Mapper v2.3 has been released. The major improvement in this version is an added in-memory cache that speeds up panning and rotating. If you're frustrated with the slowness of Maemo Mapper v2.x, try this new version. See the release notes and changelog for a complete listing of changes in v2.3.
