Great news! We have been working on new version of our multilingual dictionary for last two months and today finally we are pleased to give You an opportunity to test it. We have rewritten the whole application - now it is based on Qt (You need to install this wonderful framework or use PR1.2). You can find beta version in our Files section (https://garage.maemo.org/frs/?group_id=58) under mDictionary (Fremantle) subsection. Currently by default we are supporting XDXF dictionaries (with optional optimization per dictionary which increases searching performance!) and bookmarks. You can also install google plugin which utilizes Google's translator web service (You need to be connected to the internet to use it) and homescreen applet - You can search for a word directly from desktop. Remember that You can have many dictionaries up and running inside mDictionary so now You are able to translate Your word/sentence to many languages at one "Search" press (thanks to google plugin it is now really powerful)... just try it! :) We will appreciate any feedback and/or bug report on our tracker. So go ahead.. tell us what is wrong and what could be better than it is now! Thanks a lot for that! In order to install our home applet You need to install qt4-homescreen-loader first. To do that add Devel-Extras to Your repositories on the device by clicking this link: http://repository.maemo.org/extras/install/extras-devel-fremantle.install After that, installation of mdictionary-homescreen-widget should automatically download its dependencies.
