Comments:
I would just like to add that the app works and is quite precise. One thing I hate is that it's a desktop widget and not an application. Either go for a crazy big one (larger than 7-day OMWeather) or have a separate application, it makes no sense to cram so much information into so little space. The miniscule start/stop button is a great example why this thing is too small.
A notification message saying to keep the phone in the pocket for best accuracy should avoid such confusions.
Thanks for testing and reporting those problems.
I realised that I don't move my hands that much when I walk when I first started testing this app. After counting myself up to 150 steps, the counter still showed zero. Then I realised that it might actually work if I put the device in my pocket and oh boy did it work :D
Good work!
'Resetting the total counter' does not reset the 'All-Time' counter until the pedometer is started and stopped after a reset.
I never understood why everything must be made to desktop widgets, this one could very well be a real application. Nevertheless, it's very good.
looks good, works correctly. Could use less battery power though: I get 5-8% CPU usage more from the widget.
Additional comments: This widget is incredibly precise: i've just done exactly 68 steps and it tells me "69", awesome!
