ContactInfos is already used by PhoneLink to provides your contacts data from GPE or Evolution Data Server (The default contact management software) ContactInfos only provides services to other software via DBus. You can select the backend (GPE or Evolution) via a control Panel Applet. Try it with PhoneLink (https://garage.maemo.org/projects/phonelink/) and let me know if you think it could be usefull "connected" to other software (I have Maemo Mapper in mind ...) Enjoy
