After a long while I've finally been able to find some time to update my EasyList project.
So why did it take so long? Well, firstly there hasn't been any bug reports or feature requests up until a few days ago. Secondly the development took me a bit longer, because, development wise, quite a big deal of things have changed since PR1.2.
I've been struggling hard to make my project compatible with the new QtSDK and the new way of packaging for the repository. It took me about a day in total to finally manage it.
So what has changed?
A functional change has been realized in this version. I've been made aware by users of EasyList that they don't really find the multiple list functionality easy to use.
Suggestions has been made and I do agree with them. So I've been busy trying to change the working of the multiple list. Mainly how such a list is saved.
In previous versions you can create a list and save that list as a "template" under a unique name.
Subsequent changes to the current working list won't update the "template" unless you specifically save the current list under that template name again.
In this version you have your working list just like the old version. But once you've saved the list with a template name then the working list and the template list will be kept synchronous.
So when you load another template list you don't have to worry that you've forgotten to save the current list under its template name.
When you load another template list, that list is automagically kept synchronous to your working list. So subsequent changes are in sync between your current working list and the template you've loaded.
If you feel that there are things which can improve the ease of EasyList then please post to the [ANNOUNCE] thread here: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=62280
Many thanks and hope you find my app useful.
