MediaBox Media Center v2010.09.11

I use the latest version of this great program on my N810. I use the Internet Radio part of it. I noticed that many times you tune in to a radio lets say channel 5 in your list and it jumps to channel 7 while showing the title and stream info of channel 6. So for some reason this jumping happens often. It would be good if this bug was removed.

I updated to this when prompted, but media box doesn't start up now on my N810.

I followed the link to the Release Notes (http://mediabox.garage.maemo.org/data/release-notes) but there's nothing there about the latest release. What do I need to do to get media box working now?

What happened to bookmarks for music playback? This was a 5 star app before bookmarks disappeared. Now everytime I pause playback and go away for a bit, it forgets where it was at.

this was the best media player available on the n810 before the update to bring it into line with n900 look & feel, & since that update it's by far the best - i like the nice modern kinetic scrolling feel, but most of all what i like is the ability to browse to a folder in the filesystem & just play all the files in that folder, which is great for people like me who have an .mp3 collection stretching back 10 years where most of it has no metadata applied to the files !

Very slick media player. I tried them all for the N810, and have happily settled down with MediaBox. This is the only app that I was able to get streaming video/audio working, which would not have been a deal-killer for me, but is a huge plus. Thanks a ton for the continued work on this. MediaBox is probably my favorite app for my N810.

WOW! Folks say Canola is good but this is positively awesome. Well designed, elegant, fast, covers all media types well. Simply terrific. Thanks to the designers...world class app.

For me this is the perfect Music and Multimedia Player Software. Music search by Album, Artist, Genre and Folders. Covers are shown, when scolling through albums. Creating Playlist is very easy. Especially the UI changes, that comes with 0.96.5 are very good. I like the UI and the usabillity. I tried some other Players on my N810 before, but this one is simply great. Thank you!

App installed and ran perfectly. Good program for sure.

I liked this application and congrats to the developers. It could have been even better if it is a bit more faster in loading and response hte reason why I am reluctant to use either canola or this or any other media center applications.

I really like the fact that it worked out of the box without any major problem (unlike canola2 which still does not work on my n810)...Good GUI and good effects however it does not look consistent throughout the application and it's not straight forward to use sometimes... Looking forward new versions!!

Fast, reliable and robust.

I love this player. To my eyes and fingers Canola2 is over-designed--pretty, but not as useable as MediBox is. While I also wish that MediaBox has a random/shuffle function, I am otherwise completely happy with the way it works.

Thank you for improving MediaBox 0.94! The “Support for the button on the headset (pause/play)” idea is great! I like these detailed functions. I am looking forward to further improvements for my default media player!

PS: I was surprised how well and fast MediaBox runs on Hacker Edition for 770! Can't wait until you add video support for 770 as well!

A decent start on a media centre. I don't get any cover art for my album though, and there's no obvious UI to choose shuffle-playing my entire music collection, which is the mode I want most of the time.
