A GUI for the kernel's cpufreq interface

This application allows you to adjust the maximum CPU frequency that your device is able to use.

It should work with official and patched kernels.

@Daniel Klaffenbach, I will wait for new release version by you instead of downloading and installing provided link as the current version of CPUFREQ is very stable expect printing wrong temprature which is not a very big issue for me. thaks for making a good apps...

@sanjeev rajput: I am not 100% sure how I'll handle the new power-kernel version. For now you can use a pre-release of QCPUFreq in order to show the correct temperature on v47 (old power kernels will show a WRONG temperature):

@Daniel Klaffenbach

on 4 May 2011 I receive new updates for kernel power user, after updating my 900 with this updated QCPUFreq showing 346*c CPU temperature. Please release a new version with for this issue for this kernel, however it is very stable

I've just commited some changes to the Git repository to enable support for voltage profiles. It'll be included in the next release.

Very nice app, and has been actively supported by the dev. Would be nice if it could also load voltage profiles for Power Kernel.

TO enable overclocking you need to install the power-kernel. With the vanilla kernel you can only do some underclocking.

there is option "enable overclocking" , but how i can enable it, because it's allways "gray" ? ? ?

This works beautifully - huge difference to battery life. I agree with Jarno though - it would be handy if this was automatic depending on the screen state or linked with the desktop activity manager? On the whole though, just brilliant.

Great software,saves a lot of battery and I can feel my phone being cooler than before.

However it is a hassle to manually adjust CPU max freq. It would be much better if it would have two settings, one when screen is off and one when screen is on.

Would it be possible to make this sofware to react to screen state. That is automatically set CPU max freq to minimum when screen is off, and to another setting when screen is on?

Bien, assez simple mais je préfère cpufreqUI (en développement). C'est juste une question de goût... :-)

Just installed this. The GUI is so easy, there is a simple slider to adjust from min to max lock speed. I have not enabled smart reflex yet but will pl6 wit it omce i am confident with the basic function.
