I am looking with some help to modify or create a program like eCoach that is able to track your path/position on a map. I want to use it for off road mountain biking, I am very curious to see what my path looks like on a map and to see how far/fast and how long it took.
Brainstorm
Need an "offline" GPS tracking application (N900)

Call Rejector
a simple call rejector application which rejects calls listed by the user.
1. allow list - when active only calls from the listed numbers will be allowed.
2. reject list - all calls are allowed EXCEPT the ones listed in "reject list"
3. auto reject unknown numbers - numbers not stored in the users contacts are auto rejected. (option to turn this feature off)
4. private numbers - private numbers are auto rejected (option to turn this feature off)
the application will be similar/a replica of HandyBlacklist for the S60 platform.
Future Improvements - SMS/MMS rejection following the same examples/options as above.
Im not a developer but would be keen on going through the process to help with develpment.
N900 used as wireless headphones

I often use headphones when watching movies because I don't want to wake up my little son, and I bought those big wireless headphones.
The idea is to use the phone as bluetooth (or wifi?) receiver for audio played on a desktop pc. It would be great to, for example:
1) control the mediaplayer on the pc
2) pause in case of incoming calls
3) pause when you move too much far
and so on.
following the steps described in: http://wiki.bluez.org/wiki/HOWTO/AudioDevices i get:
mplayer -ao alsa:device=bluetooth mymovie.avi
...
...
...
[AO_ALSA] alsa-lib: audio/pcm_bluetooth.c:1607
audioservice_expect) BT_GET_CAPABILITIES failed : Input/output error(5)
[AO_ALSA] Playback open error: Input/output error
Failed to initialize audio driver 'alsa:device=bluetooth'
...
...
...
First of all, is this possible?
