(sorry if this is not the right spot to post this)
I am thinking of putting a personal mediawiki on an N900 (first thoughts here : http://carrypad.com/2010/02/22/airlife-100-thoughts-6-days-online-battery-and-pricing/#comments ).
I've got 2 issues to solve to make it interesting :
1) make it locally accessible to other devices (netbooks, laptops, etc), for example via bluetooth ?
This is interesting because (a) a bigger device is better to view/edit a mediawiki and (b) even if the mediawiki is mirrored on the web there are some cases where 3G is not good enough and you need to access the mediawiki directly on the N900, preferably with a bigger device than the N900 itself.
So how easy and quick would it be to access the mediawiki on the N900 from another device ?
Any idea what would be the most efficient way of doing that ? maybe with bluetooth PAN ?
2) mirror it on the web so that it's accessible from anywhere (even if there's no 3G connexion on the N900)
(this seems to be doable with “MySQL multi-master replication – circular replication with two nodes” : http://capttofu.livejournal.com/1752.html )
Any idea how this would work ?
