I typically have 8-12 apps open. In the task manager the apps aren't shown in a predetermined order and often look pretty similar, so you find yourself scanning through reading the titles which is quite slow. It would be nice to have a way of highlighting the apps that are most important to you, for quick access.

Solution #1: Colour code apps

Have the ability to assign a coloured border or transparent tint to selected apps in the task manager view. Ideally this would include the ability to assign a colour to an IM or SMS conversation with a particular contact. For example you might assign read, green, blue to the Phone, All Contacts and an IM conversation so these stand out in the task manager.
