Solution #1: Show latest Maemo Talk N900 forum headlines on the site

talk.maemo.org has a forum dedicated to N900 user discussions. Promoting that on maemo.nokia.com and displaying latest discussion topics would be a good way to show the community around Maemo and N900.

Solution #2: Show user-oriented Social News on maemo.nokia.com

Maemo Social News is a service where we automatically lift the most interesting blog posts around the Maemo community. The user-oriented stories from there would be a lively addition to the Maemo News section of the maemo.nokia.com site.

Solution #3: Aggregate the maemo.nokia.com news feed to Social News

maemo.nokia.com has a nice newsfeed containing videos and user-oriented announcements about Maemo and N900. This would be a great addition to Maemo Social News. However, not to Planet Maemo as they're not individual blogs but instead as its own news section.

Solution #4: Enable maemo.org registration and login on maemo.nokia.com

maemo.nokia.com should use the single sign-on solution being rolled out on maemo.org. This way users registering on maemo.nokia.com could access community services like talk.maemo.org immediately. This also means synchronizing the user data.

maemo.org provides a large bunch of services for the Maemo community: discussion forums, brainstorming, project hosting, news aggregation, bug tracking etc. These should be featured prominently on the maemo.nokia.com site. About Maemo could be a good place for these.

As soon as maemo.nokia.com allows "public" activities (commenting, rating etc) we could perhaps aggregate these into the karma system of maemo.org.
