In Fremantle, currently being deployed on the Nokia N900, landscape is the mode used for the default desktop and general interface. This is due to many factors, between them, software heritage from previous Maemo releases, as well as the hardware design of the device currently using it.

Considering that Maemo already has got some traction with people all around the world, it might be a good idea to promote it further by selling Maemo Merchandise. This would also satisfy its fans/well-wishers in getting those t-shirt which only currently dream of :)

The Maemo Merchandise Shop (MMS) can start with the regular common stuff like T-shirts, tea/coffee mugs, water bottles, usb drives, caps, stickers, etc.

This can be done either by Nokia or by someone interested/experienced in the community. They can do this either for-profit or not-for-profit.

People often complain about how, especially in long threads, duplicate responses can have a 'polluting' effect on the thread.

Following the example of stackoverflow.com, it would be more useful to have the most 'useful' (thanked) responses appear first - allowing the reader to process this info on the first couple pages (the most likely to be read before running out of patience).

since the maemo5 have threaded view sms (instant messaging) which is very cool think ,

Currently only playing from UPNP enabled sources is possible.

Desired:

- UPNP control point (command sinks to start playing from sources)

- UPNP server (sourcing to other devices)

- Playing from UPNP sources (already implemented)
