Problem: Currently there's no way to see (quickly) that the N900 is still alive or that it has a empty battery.

Suggestion: Show a blinking LED just like the N810 does.

Hi, I would love maemo to act like a remote for squeezebox players, much like ipeng does for iphone. Instead of having to go to your browser with a cluttered interface, it would be great to have a small app where I could decide which music to play on my squeezebox.

The LED notification indicator on the n900 is not placed on the edge of the device. As a result i assume i would miss the notifications if the n900 was placed above my eye level. For example if i was sitting on my couch and the n900 was placed on the dining table at a distance away from the couch and if the couch and the dining table are of the same level, i cannot see the LED light glowing because of the placement of the LED indicator. Consider the same scenario in the n810, since the LED indicator is placed towrads the edge of the device, i can see the LED indicator even if i am at a lower level in comparision to the device.

So I don't think I'm alone in wanting to be able to see my account balances at a glance (this is why they invented mobile banking). I think it would be really useful to have a widget on the desktop which shows an overview of your accounts and their balances, maybe updated once a day or on demand, or something.

I figure it would be a simple text output:

CHQ1   $160.54
SAV1   $1401.76
RENT    $600.00
BILLS   $55.02

Obviously depending on how many accounts you have..

it would be cool, at least in bigger devices, to have a special container inside of the device for earphones/microphone, so that one always has it.
