Quick-launching the Music app

Posted on 2012-04-12 20:26 UTC by Ujwal Soni. Status: Waiting

The Nokia N9 can detect when the headphone pin in plugged in or removed.

It would be great to have a tweak to automatically launch the Music app when the earphones are plugged in. Preferably, there can be a toggle in the Settings>Applications>Music to enable/disable the feature.

Play audio on call

Posted on 2012-06-13 07:28 UTC by Poomalairaj Ramasubramaniam. Status: Waiting, Categories: Utilities.

The feature I desire very much was the ability to play an audio file while I am on call with my friend.

The usecase is automatic voice responder. When someone call me, the app should pick the call and plays some audio files based on the rules preset. Using this app I can tell the callers that "I am busy now" or "call me later" or "number not available (this is for telecallers promotion calls)"

This will be cool. It seems recaller app does the same in the other way. It records all the system audio. I think it may also be possible to play audio to the voice call.

dim the display on the very start of a long action and undim it on user input or the end of the action

Posted on 2013-08-24 14:18 UTC by Serhiy Zahoriya. Status: Waiting, Categories: System.

I often find myself locking the screen while a web page is loading just to save a little bit of battery power. So I thought of minimizing screen brightness when there's nothing really important on the display right on the start of every action that's supposedly will take at least several seconds and returning to a previous brightness on any user input or at the end of the action. RSS FEED TO HTTP ARTICEL OPTION

Posted on 2018-04-04 22:11 UTC by Pekka Leivo. Status: Waiting

Have tried to get the RSS reader to work. Read about the problems with ssl2 and ssl3. I managed to get the headers and short inserts of a feed but clicking the header tried to read rss which is https and failed. But the actual articel is on a http site and can be opened. When I clicked to open rss articel I stopped the download, omitted the s from https and was redirected to the articel on http site. I'm not sure how common this is, but it could be quite common so adding an option to read actual http articel on web instead of https rss would make possible to use the rss header list as a route to articels.
