On the maemo forums there seems to be alot interest in using the n900 as a desktop computer.
Currently the following features stop it being usable as one:
1. Lack of ability to connect to an external keyboard / mouse
2. Lack of ability to manage windows / the system from the external interface.

In skype group chats it gets easily annoying to see every message popup like every other normal IM.
there should be an option to hide group chat notifications

Hi all
I think that clicking somewhere on the desktop for going back is not the best way, because a lot of times, when I try to open an app or enter to "more..." I get the opposite thing, wich is going back, because of miss touch on the desk instead of the icon.

I think that when there are more than 3 o 4 news sms it is quite long to get to read them all, because you go to conversations, then click on 1st new sms, read it, close it, go back to minimized task conversation and so on. Thats is why I will propose a solution wich is:
