Touch Screen Vibration feedback setting.

Current Touch Screen Vibration feedback is very weak and barely noticeable.
The ability to change the "feel" & "strength" would be something very handy to have.

Here is the discussion thread for this brainstorm.

"Intelligent" Date Picker

Posted on 2010-01-14 02:26 UTC by Brad Grigor. Status: Under consideration, Categories: Office, User Experience.

The N900 uses a scrolly "Rolodex" or "odometer" style date picker for Tasks and Events. This paradigm, perhaps inspired by the iPhone and other "touch" devices, may be simple (i.e. it has no intelligence and was probably easy to code) but it is also inefficient (i.e. often requires excessive effort to reach the required outcome) and ineffective (i.e. doesn't address typical date picking requirements).

Tighter application integration through dynamic content dispatch and sourcing

Maemo is great at allowing many applications to run concurrently but they do not actually integrate well together. Fundamentally, integration between applications is very rigid and new applications added into the mix are not recognised by the current applications. Ideally, such integrations would be enabled by dynamic discovery.

Wii-mote GamePad PS3 controller

Posted on 2009-10-29 11:15 UTC by Rüdiger Schiller. Status: Under consideration, Categories: Games, User Experience.

We have all hardware needed to create a N900-Wii-mote, and I'd like to have a N900-Wii-mote to not buy another Wii-mote for a third player... also I'd like to have the N900 as an universal game-controler for PC and PS3.

What would be a proper solution?
