Interest:

I'm a master student of "Interdisciplinary Media Science” at the Bielefeld University. I got a B.Sc. In “Applied Communication and Media Science” from the University Duisburg-Essen. The topic of my thesis topic was to implement a collaborative whiteboard on top of Jabber/XMPP to help distributed research.

My main interest is Human-Computer-Interaction, Usability and UX. I was fascinated by Gnome because of its commitment to Usability, but I like to think about new ways of UI and user feedback. Another interest is how research results of Psychology could be used to improve HCI. I also like to analyse UI and search for bugs and pitfalls in the interface design.

I’m not UI/UX/ professional, but consider this topics as my hobby.

With some friends I submited an idea to the Push N900 competition and our team is one of the five winning teams. We'll now have implement our idea, a with microelectronics pimped skateboard, which you could use to play a skateboard videogame on a real halfpipe.
