Leandro Sales

is a Software Engineering and a Computer Network Administrator. He is associate in Information Technology by CEFET/AL (Federal Center of Techonological Education in Alagoas) and B.S in Computer Science at UFAL (Federal University of Alagoas, Brazil); Nowadays he is Master student in Computer Science at UFCG (Federal University of Campina Grande, Brazil), Department of Computing System; He is currently working for Embedded Laboratory (formally, the Embedded Systems and Pervasive Computing Lab) as BRisa, E-Phone and DCCP projects team leader at maemo garage. Moreover, he is the network administrator of the Embedded Lab., which is composed by about 200 workstations and 3 servers running Linux. In computing field, his main skills are: JAVA, Python, PHP, Perl, C and C++ programming languages, XML and Webservices Technologies, computer network technologies, such as TCP/IP stack (ranging from HTTP, TCP/UDP/DCCP to IEEE 802.11g). He loves to contribute for opensource movement, where he is currently contributing for the Linux Kernel and for a project where he is implementing the UPnP audio and video device standards.
