In order to help reduce duplicates, and allow users to find brainstorms faster, a way of searching brainstorms would be very useful.

Solution #1: Add search field to search brainstorms.

Add a search field to enable searching for words in the title, or brainstorm, or solutions.
For example, searching for 'calendar' in titles would reveal all brainstorms with calendar in the topic, without the user needing to figure out what category it was probably posted in.
This is even more important for problems that don't fit neatly into one category.

Brainstorms could be tagged multiple times:
* First tag should be the application/component or "new" for new work (as opposed to the "class" used now)
* Second tag would be "enhancement" "fix" "expansion" or similar
* Other tags could be used for better searching, like state (as it is now)
This would allow a user to get all enhancement requests to -say- Calendar, drastically minimizing duplicates and overlapped brainstorms. Interface could be similar to bug submission; bugs are easy to find. This also makes queries like "what is being worked on Contacts" or "what will be implemented soon in Phone" possible.
Tags should be reviewed for new brainstorms (if possible) by a human to keep them meaningful.
This solution is meant to be used in conjuction with Search function in Solution #1, and to be very similar to bug searching as it is now.

Solution #3: Just use Talk's Power Search across maemo.org

http://talk.maemo.org/msearch.php seems to work well in all areas of maemo.org. Why no just use it for Brainstorm, and all the rest.
