The current menu is very limited and does not allow the user to rearrange the menu icons. I know the deskop is said to repace the menu at the most part, but this is still a very severe limitation.

Solution #1: Long press for rearrange menu.

User should be able to long press at the application menu. That would open the context menu just like in the photo manager app. There would be options listed for "rearrange" and for example "reset order". Upon selecting "rearrange" user would be able to click and drag the icons to his/her desired locations/order.

Solution #2: New entry in Settings menu

There should be an entry under Personalization in system Settings menu for entering a menu editor mode.
