MultiMediaCard
Definitions
MultiMediaCards (MMCs) are small, removable memory cards used in many devices such as mobile phones, PDAs and digital cameras. MMC used in Nokia 770 is actually a newer type of MMC called RS-MMC or Reduced Size MultiMediaCard. Its dimensions are only 24mm x 18mm x 1.4mm yet it is compatible with older type of cards by using an adapter. More information can be found from the website of MultiMediaCard Association.
Also normal (full sized) MMC and SD (Secure Digital) Cards are known to work in the 770 without modifications.
There are single voltage or dual-voltage RS-MMC cards, also there are MMCMobile and RS-MMC cards. This makes different categories, of which not all may be compatible... needs to be confirmed precisely.
