Users with several IMAP accounts configured in Modest have to perform several repetitive navigation tasks each time they used Modest to get from the initial open event of the application to their Inbox:

REPETITIVE STEPS:

1. When opened, Modest displays Account List

2. User clicks on desired Account

3. Modest displays Folder List of desired account

4. User clicks on desired Folder (almost always 'Inbox')

5. Modest displays 'Inbox' of selected Account

Extra steps 2, 3, 4 & 5, as described above, are always required, no matter how many times per day user checks email.

ALTERNATIVE STEPS:

1. When opened, Modest initially displays folder 'Inbox' of Account last viewed

-and/or-

2. After Step 2 ("User clicks on desired Account"), Modest display folder 'Inbox' of selected account

IMPLEMENTATION:

The 'Folder List' view of an Account could be moved to the context menu of Modest (available via clicking on the title-bar) where other application menu options are located.
