You can see in this Presentation on Page 9 and 10, the MeeGo (Maemo 6 / Harmattan) Desktop will get one big homescreen you can scroll and flick totally free. When you rotate the Device the Desktop will rotate the same way, without much widget rearrangements.
It's a good Idea, and I like it. But it could get even better with some Ideas from us. :-)

You can see in the Presentation above the MeeGo Devices will get one BIG Desktop and you will see only a small part of it at once.
I would like the possibility to zoom freely in and out at the Desktop to get a better overview. (at example like in the mircoB browser at the N900 with the spin gestue)
