Approaching the maemo.org community website as someone who is not very familiar with the wiki structure, I'm having a difficult time finding information quickly and some of how the website is laid out does not make sense to me. When I clicked on Report bugs & suggest features why did I not find a link to here? Isn't this how to suggest features?
Brainstorm
Increase opportunities for contribution

Solutions for this brainstorm
Solution #1: Use other user-centric distro community pages as models

I suggest the ubuntu "Get Involved" page http://www.ubuntu.com/community/participate as a good reference for how the maemo community pages may be more inclusive. For example they specifically calling out different classes of contributers such as "developer,technical,non-technical." Presumably as maemo expands with the n900 there should be a greater focus on involving people who do not know how to code but are enthusiastic about the platform.
Solution #2: Regarding the contribution to Maemo software and third-party software. (Wiki not included)

It would be preferable to modify/simplify garage.maemo.org inspired by Lanchpad (https://launchpad.net/).
Currently, it lacks the following things to garage.maemo.org:
- Possibility to obtain a secure repositorie unique to project. (as launchpad PPA).
- Possibility to help the translation software.
- Blueprint (however, actually it isn't as evolved as Blueprint).
- FOSS elements of the Maemo OS are not present on Garage.maemo.org.
We could also simplify the interface. For example: the button "Report a Bug" visible from anywhere on web pages of a FOSS project. Making the interface more pleasing to the eye also is a good idea. Again, we could inspire Lanchpad which proves to be very simple to use and pleasing to the eye .
Memo: FOSS = Free and Open Source Software.
