So I propose a program that would sync specified folders (between the N900 and Windows (later on Linux and Mac too). This would allow syncing of anything you want and would be especially handy for music syncing, any new photos taken with the N900, easy video syncing.

The goal of this brainstorm is for us to describe the features that we would like to have on our ideal device
I do request though that we try to restrain the ideas to existing technology (even if not yet wildly used), but if want a certain funcitonality but doesn't know the technicalities of how it coul dbe implemented you may still suggest it.
Zoom in/out

The zoom in/out in the N900 is achieved in different ways. Hardware keys or rotational zoom in/out (a la browser). This is due to the missing multitouch support in Fremantle.
Even though it gives you fine grained control on the zoom in/out, I quite don't like it as I don't feel it's "natural".
