The first of the series is a referendum on the rules surrounding the election and nature of the Maemo Community Council. You are encouraged to read more about this and why council hopes you will have no objections to vote "yes."

]]>All the latest official Ubuntu Intrepid Desktop and Maemo SDK updates that were available at image release date are included. For installation you need to have either VMWare environment like VMWare Player 3.0 or 2.5 (2.5 recommended as first 3.x versions have problems maintaining ssh connections), VirtualBox 3.x environment (PUEL version as open source version does not support USB well enough) or QEMU environment (KQEMU accelerator recommended) installed and configured for your computer. For Maemo SDK Virtual Image installation you need to have 7-Zip uncompression tool because standard command line zip tools are not able to handle archives bigger than about 2GB (with zip compression archive size is bigger than 2GB).
Notice that image delivery files have been compressed using 7-Zip tool (http://www.7-zip.org/).
