Sopwith 1.7.1-4maemo5
port of the 1980's side-scrolling WWI dogfighting game
For the nostalgic among you, I present sopwith.
This is an updated version of the 1980's game developed by
David L. Clark of BMB Compuscience Canada - it has been adapted
to run on Maemo devices with a keyboard. Poor graphics, stupid AI,
and no sound await you. The gameplay is simple, addictive,
and fun. A `side-scroller', you pilot your biplane across a static
field, destorying enemy encampments and planes.

Comments:
Mikko - just a very minor nit:
In the Maemo package description for Sopwith, could you capitalise the first letter of the first word so that the package description becomes:
"Port of the 1980's side scrolling WWI dogfighting game"
This would then be consistent with all other Maemo packages, and would also look better.
Strictly speaking I don't think the apostrophe should be there either, but I appreciate this description has come from the original Debian package.
Thanks Neil
Which keys are missing from which keyboard layout?
This game is not much fun for everybody who does not have an english QWERTY keyboard layout. Some of the keys you need for play are not readily available. Can you please add the possibility to configure keys? Thanks!!!
