There is no way to try it. The only thing to do is go to the website, which closes or crash the application and buy it.
Blatant abuse of the QA process here.
Ok my bad again... have to change previous comment. I thought I had updated to 1.05 yesterday, but it turned out what I had was probably 1.04 because I just got an update notification to 1.05. The new version doesn't work and the program crashed when I tried to close to buy now pop-up window. There is no way to proceed to the gameplay so definitely a thumb down.
Updated to version 1.0.5 and it crashes after clicking the button to close the message about buying the full version.
Version 1.0.4 used to work fine.
Why are you tying to circumvent community quality control with fake users?
Seems to be optified. Picking/throwing feels easier than the previous version (1.04) However I noticed that the shadow of the ball seems not to be rendered correctly at times when the ball is flying higher. Also another weird thing is that the depth of the table doesn't feel like it's linear. This is noticeable if you throw the ball lightly... it feels like you are standing very high and the ball goes more downwards than forwards. However, these issues doesn't affect gameplay so I am still giving it a thumb up.
