I re-enabled it and it doesn't seem to be consuming CPU now. Maybe it required a restart. hildon-home was off the charts and when I removed the widget (being the latest update) it settled. However it now works ok and looks great
@RobertMicallef: CPU consuming shouldn't be any different than the previous version. Rather, I've cleaned up some unnecessary checkings and calculations in this version. Moreover, the slideshow runs only when the desktop it is in is visible so other times it doesn't use any cpu at all.
Hi. I love this widget. However the latest version sometimes consumes a huge amount of CPU. I was noticing lag in the system and when I removed the widget the lag disappeared.
I didn't notice anything like this in the previous versions.
Changes: it now suppors hidden files/folders and also checks USB mass storage properly.. and some minor fixes.
