@mustali Dalal: Ya that's the only reason I could think of which's causing the trouble. Anyway, I'm getting my n900 soooon ;) hopefully in a full functional form, I'll edit n' recompile and test in my device itself and upload the fix coz I don't think I can check this in scratchbox. Thanks guys..

  • yes, it is the same error.
  • more information: when the directory is set to /home/user, the error is gone. I am guessing this may be related to mounting of MyDocs. The app may be scanning the folder before it gets mounted.

@Mustali Dalal: So, it still shows that info banner 'no images' thing. The behaviour of the applet is: It scans the selected directory and if no image files are found it sets the directory to /home/user/MyDocs/.images(It doesn't check if the selected directory is the same one) and if still it couldn't find any image it just displays blank. Honestly, I'm not sure why coz all I've is scratchbox and it's all fine here.

  • The applet does not show any images after a reboot. Applet works only after removing and re-adding the widget. this was an issue in the previous version too.

@Chad Diederichs: So, it works when setting to that directory from applet's settings dialog but while rebooting it doesn't?

Great applet, but my selected directory on the /media/mmc1/Images directory is discarded and is reset to /home/user/MyDocs/.images in the Applet's preferences every time I reboot the N900.

Changes: * Control buttons are responsive throughout its visibility unlike in the previous version, slideshow is inactive when controls are visible. * Effect preferences weren't set properly in the previous version when different transition with the same effect preferences were chosen. Now, it does.

NOTE: bugtracker is still work in progress, though the link appears it doesn't work yet. My apology..
