Comments:
Thanks for pointing it out. It's actually suppose to be kinda thumbnail of all the images in the directory and easy access to it as a click will give one an option to navigate back or forth or see it in big display. However, I'm working to implement that option as well. How about other things, any bugs, suggestions?
This is just much too small to be useful :( Is there any way to resize it or maybe add options to select different sizes of the widget?
.desktop-applet.ini [config] folder=/home/user/MyDocs/.images scan_sub_dir_flag=FALSE slideshow_interval=4 transition_time=2 transition=Barn effect_preference=Horizontal
Transition during navigation http://bit.ly/7zijyO
Hi, thanks for the test. About the error message, can you please check the ~/.desktop-photoapplet.ini coz it will scan the directory stated in the "folder=some/dir" and make sure there are images in that directory or else directory will be set to "/home/user/MyDocs/.images". Or simply you can go to the edit mode and open up the settings dialog and give the directory that you want your images to be displayed from. About the CPU usage, slideshow is active only when the widget is showing, Slideshow should stop even when the display if off and about the "inadvertantly zooming" would you mind if I ask for another screenshot for it too. Thanks
Widget displays the following error after reboot. http://bit.ly/8B5tO1
Photos are displayed when the widget is closed and added from the Desktop menu.
nice widget. makes me want to be able to resize it!
Needs a bug-tracker.
Low CPU usage seems to be present only when the widget is visible.
It would be nice to freeze the transition when navigating arrows are displayed. It inadvertantly zoomed on the next picture because of the transition.
