sorry for my word selection. It is sort of a bluff but optical illusion would probably be better word for it.
@Timo P, well, you called it "bluffing". I think more proper and less understate way to put it would be "optimizing". There's no bluffing there, it really MAKES the device snappier, not just make it LOOK snappier.
@Ricky, Didin't I just say exactly the same thing a while ago? I thought I wasn't negative but realistic... the tone is usually a matter of interpretation.

why are you so negative about everything?
Tweaked transitions makes the device more snappier and for end user it really makes the device more responsive. It doesn't matter how it's achieved, the results are what matters ;)
Also images in the theme makes difference on how smooth for example lists scrolls etc.
It only seems to be. The transitions are nice but it is all about bluff. Same responsiveness, different (better?) animation = "seems to be more responsive".
This is how UX works.
Have Pleego installed and not Addon pack 1. I like the Pleego theme and my N900 seems to be more responsive with it.I have had no issues/reboots/sticky screens or whatever. My N900 is working perfectly with Pleego them. A really fantastic effort by D-livil.
