Feel free to comment on the. Regarding #5665, in particular, I just thought I could show a banner (yellow banners) explaining what is going on.
Also I forgot to remove the Share via Services button. It's still not implemented. Is is a showstopper?

This is a 'lite' version of Xournal. It does the basic stuff (taking notes, save and export them, annotate PDFs). Most of the configuration/settings is being left out for the time being. I'm in the process of a major re-design of the whole UI (portrait included) and this will take some time to do properly.
